The beta isone of the best things Epic could have done for this game. Gears 2 was so glitchy when it came out people jumped ship quickly on the MP and it went down hill fast.
The beta has given epic the oppportunity to work out obvious glitches and focus on weapon balance. I don't know if they will keep the retro and SOS as they are, personally I don't mind them but I know some do. All I hope is they keep the a good amount of servers available up and running for the game because the P2P still is awful.
