For sure they didn't buy FF7. Besides the fact that it was ported to pc, at the time the only capable console for such a game was the playstation.

They paid to keep GTA off the Xbox for years.


GTA III was released on playstation 2 before the xbox was released.

Vice city was built upon GTA III, so it was readily available on ps2 and later ported to the xbox alongside GTA III when the engine was ready.

Hah, wow.. didn't realize there was still stuff that was this direct around.  They like to hide this stuff now... back in the old days it was a sign of pride.  Doing well "for your team" and all that BS.
