It does seem like most other dictionaries disagree with that though, so I'll end the discussion by saying I was wrong, and when we refer to platform exclusivity, an exclusive can only appear on one platform.

But by your own definition, we still have "nonsense"-examples as

makes it clear that "exclusive" can refer to things like someone having exclusive publishing rights. That means we can group games according to which publishers they're exclusive to, and L.A. Noire is a Rockstar exclusive. Sony, Nintendo and Rockstar exclusives are all perfectly valid, and you just proved them.

Wait... so by that definition, even Call of Duty MW2 is an exclusive (a PC/PS3/Xbox 360 exclusive) and FIFA Soccer 11 is a PS3/Xbox 360/Wii/PSP/DS/PC/PS2 exclusive?

 

Then what is a multiplatform? xD
