You don't have any idea AT ALL.
Until we see some tech demos or at least are told what GPU or whatever it has, you don't know the power of the console.
All the rumours have told us so far is they could be using an R700 GPU, which could mean a half generational jump (medium end R700) to a generational jump (high end R700).
The only people who know anything are the ones who have seen what's under the hood of the console.

So the multiple roumers putting it's capabilities near the PS360 plus Ubisoft who have dev kitts saying
"What we see is that we will be able to leverage a lot of the work we do for Xbox 360 and PS3 while we create games for the platform," Guillemot said. "So we will not have to redo completely the games that we create. We'll be able to use all the capacity the console is giving but also use all the work we do for the other platforms."

That says nothing about the system's power. Nothing.
It means the architecture of the console makes it easy to port PS360 games to it. That is all.
Nintendo used an architecture similar to the 360 because devs have an easier time with that one than PS3's architecture.

actually it says plenty about the power if you add it all together, it's clear the system won't be a power house and that any extra power will be used for other things, like the multiple screens etc. No rumour has sugested that it would be more than twice the power and that is coming from many different sources, some of which I don't think can be trusted at all who sugested that it would be "weaker" than the 360.
Look if current tech and assets can utalise the full power of the system like Ubisoft says and they have dev kitts and are developers so they should know then the system won't be significantly more powerful or it's resources will be used for other features. Ever since Iwata took over they have used less powerful hardware as seen in the Wii, DS and 3DS that is unlikely to change. All evidence points towords the system being in the same league as the PS360 and there is no evidence to suggest that it will be significantly more powerful.
There is just nothing more to say so I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on this one even tho my point of view has a bunch of evidence and yours has none...

I'm not going to bother telling you anything else, especially since your reading comprehension fails.
You obviously now nothing about tech and all you do is pull crap out of your ass.
I'll take what I learn from techies on other forums over your fail logic.
|
is the info you got from "techies" from other forums, which while true doesn't give the full picture as the weakest cards in the R700 line are actually weaker than the xbox 360 and the GPU while important is by far not the only factor in graphics rendering potential.

*Sigh*
Sorry about the raging. I guess I was pissed off.
There is no reason for Nintendo to use a low-end R700, especially with what they are trying to achieve.
I follow NeoGAF. They may be elitist but they know what they are talking about and the information I got from their numerous Cafe threads go against your theory.
Here is IGN's recent article where they try to guess the console's hardware based on info from their sources.
If the console were to be similar to that, it would be able to pump out games much better than what PS360 offer and would be able to get down-ports from PS4/720.
