So if Ms releases a 599 console tomorrow which features 4 GB of fast DDR3 RAM, some awesome gaming optimized CPU, directx11 features and dev kits which are a breeze to use, and a radeon 6990 like power GPU...hell I'll buy 2 Xbox 720s at 600 bucks.
For me to buy it, it just has to be priced accordingly to what they are offering and have substantial games at launch. But I don't think everyone feels the same way. People always cite "299" as magical pricepoint.
