No more so than other major telecom/entertainment companies. It's endemic in the industry they're in. The only reason Nintendo comes out as somewhat more moral is because they have fewer interests to protect in the shady way that such companies "protect" their interests than Sony does.

"comes off as" i should have said. Even the most sunshiney corporations are vicious and underhanded in their own ways, but Nintendo hasn't been as negatively perceived as others on the whole
