I agree. and I feel like the Xbox started to realize it's potential at the end of it's life. Live started becoming popular, and it came out with a few really impressive games, graphically. (I always think of trying Ninja Gaiden.. it looked so good. In fact it was practically comparable to a lot of PS3 launch titles)

And that was only the tip of the iceberg, after the manufacturing was cut , I wonder what would have been the peak for the original Xbox, taking into account that PS2 hasn't peaked at least until FF12, as many people claim. Overall I think 360 is more of a bigger brother of the original Xbox, with the improvements taken into account on the things that the original excelled at.

Agreed. It would have been nice if it was allowed to survive, but at least its legacy continued, unlike the dreamcast
