PSN is a for profit business, not a charity. Most of Google's services are 'free' to the end user, but like PSN it is a for profit business, not a charity. If Google lost data on a hundred million users and went down for nearly a month, NOBODY would be cutting them any slack. They would be crucified probably 10x worse that what Sony is experiencing now.

Just because the service is 'free' to the end user does not give it a pass from reliability or security. It's a business and should be judged as a business, not a charity.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
