Doesn't mean all the dialogue was cheesy though was it?

There was some great story progression and character development at times. A few lines of bad dialogue doesn't make the cutscenes bad.

FFX's cutscenes were exactly the same IMO, yet I doubt you would criticise that would you?

Actully lol, i would, i think FF10 is the relic of a bigone era - yes it was good for its time, but i think that FF10 wouldnt work today - mainly because RPGs have evolved beyond that type of dialogue and voice acting. and FF10 was the first time Square did voice acting, so of course it wouldnt all be perfect.

besides my main criticisim of FF13 is what i thought was a very poor scipt, i think Sakaguchi's involvement in FF10 made for a good story and good pacing. unlike the sequel, FF10-2 which was made by the same developers as FF13.

anyway i'm not arguing about this man. lots of people seem to like it, lots dont seem to.

It was Final Fantasy VII
