Anyone with a brain would know it's impossible or simply not comment.

If they feel they are approaching capacity of the disc then they will simply compress the video further or not have as many cutscenes. You guys do realise that it is the video cutscenes that take up most of the space on the bluray don't you?

Explain how, in your self proclaimed wisdom, its impossible,  since there have been quite a few games this gen that has almost filled up a Dual Layer Blu-ray,  why would it be impossible to make a game that would require a second one.

It wouldn't be impossible to make one, that wasn't the question though.

The ending movie cutscene alone in FFXIII is more than 5GB. FFXIII could easily have been trimmed down 10GB without any noticeable difference simply by not using pre rendered cutscenes in a few areas where they obviously were not needed as these scenes were rendered using the in game engine. I realise that due to RAM restraints they were sometimes used where a scene would change from different places and it would need to happen instantly, there were times when this was not the case though but a pre rendered game engine scene were still used.

Yes that was the question and the reason you answered "Anyone with a brain would know its impossible or simply not comment"  Here I bolded and underlined you answer to the question that wasnt there apparantly.  There is even a Poll, and the answeres were possible, impossible and maybe.

And they could very well do everything you say, but they could also double the amount of CGI cutscenes as well.  Throw in lossless audio on those additional CGI cutscenes and you have a game that would require a huge amount of space.  So I will turn your answer back around on you.   Anyone with a brain would know that it isnt impossible for this game to be on 2 DL Blu-ray discs, especially considering the size of the original.  Unlikely?  Maybe. Impossible?  Absolutely not.
