I would also go with a different motherboard, preferebly one that supports Zambezi which is AMD's upcoming CPU based on the Bulldozer architecture for Socket AM3 plus. (It still supports the regular Athlon 2 and Phenom 2 chips.)

I'm aware that it's not a true Phenom, but again, this is a budget build, not an attempt to max performance on all levels. Same deal with the mobo. I can't spend $130 on a mobo and still get a good deal out of my processor and GPU in a build like this.
