I hear that. I have 2 options now if I want to play this game: Buy a PS3, and the game when it's released next fucking year, or learn Japanese so I can play on my imported copy that I orginally hoped to play the fan translation on. Both are too expensive and time consuming right now.
I've come to reason that this franchise just isn't worth it. I've wasted enough energy chasing this game and this franchise, and I'm done. Too many Tales games are left in japan and scattered across way too many platforms, definitive version often pop up a few years after the original is released, the games confirmed for localisation take far too long to show up, and other such foolishness. I tried keeping up but Namco have made that nothing less than an ardous toil. I have had enough. My money and time are better spent on other games, better franchises, and companies that aren't completely retarded. If A Tales game that I may be interested in happens to come by a platform I own and is released in my region I might grab it, but I'm done chasing Tales games. It's just not worth the effort. I advise you do the same.
