The Ten commandments are in courthouses, not as a show of faith, but as the most well know system of ancient laws. That's like saying museuems shouldn't have pictures of Jesus, or sculptures of the Egyptian gods.

That is a ridiculous analogy. Muesems are made to showcase history, which includes many religions.

Courthouses are meant to deal in secular law, which should not involve religious commandments from any religion.
