Final Fantasy XIII was released in a dual layer BD and it's between 40 and 44 GBs in torrent sites... two dual layer BDs would be FFXIII x 2, not x4.

For some reason I thought the game used a single layer BD, thanks for the info. Anyway, that would still make it x2.5 times bigger, and even if compressed it would take like 7-8 DVDs. I still find it hard to believe

It would already need 2 dual layered BDs if the game is just x2 the size of FFXIII (40/44 GB x 2 = 80/88 GB). It would just leave some empty space... it doesn't necessarily need to fill the whole 100GBs :P
Yeah, it's hard to believe... but it's not impossible :P
