I beli3ve it is possible, but Square-Enix is not the same Square of Playstation 1 era. Hironobu Sakaguchi is not there anymore. Everyone knows what happened after a certain movie called "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" was released: Square was at the top of its excessiveness and so they started to think with less ambition. They fired Hironobu and everything was changed.
We can only hope Tetsuya Nomura is free to be excessive.
