I agree that in terms of gameplay, Star Fox 64 is the better game. Hell, if you ask me, it's hardly aged at all in that respect, unlike most fifth gen games.
But SF64 made some design choices many people didn't like, (Not "all" or "most". "Many".) such as the Blue-Marine and Landmaster stages, and pointless, unskippable (iirc) cutscenes. And man, the game is easier than *insert celebrity slut here*. The original Star Fox is actually a challenge.
Plus, the SNES version's music is so much better than the N64's, it's not even funny.
I want some flipping remixes of those.
The only things really holding back the SNES version are the choppy frame-rate, bland graphics, and the lack of an analogue stick. ALL of those things could and would be fixed in a modernized remake. But how exactly could Star Fox 64 be improved on the 3DS?
