Have people forgot that the FBI and Homeland Security, as well as 2 third party security firms are investigating this whole mess? I'm sure Sony is going to have to wait for them to finish the investigation and give the go ahead to launch the new and improved PSN. I mean they have already announced they are finished with it, it's just going through final testing. Yes, it may be another week or so, but so what? It's just going to be that much more secure in the end. And it's not like it's going to hurt the PS3's sales. Last week's numbers prove this.

The PS3 sales were down 8%....
largely buoyed by Japan, who was in the middle of a holiday based around shopping,(I believe) and as shown by the low PSN accounts to not care about online.
American sales dropped by 16%

And Xbox 360 sales dropped 9%, with no online crisis.

Which shows how bad the PS3 drop was. That's a whole extra 7% drop on a system you'd expect to hold up better.
If you thought it was going to be a 50% drop. That's just silly. There could be a report saying the PS3 kills babies and the console isn't going to drop 50%.
