Hmm maybe with Paypal I wont need to buy 1000 points for an 800 point XBLA game... but then microsoft might lose out on some money so that may not happen, guess we will just have to see. The big thing for this update though is the new disc formatting which could make a big difference to the quality of content in the games.

You can buy 1.000 points?

Yep, they come in 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 and 6000 point increments

For me they come in 400, 800, 1600, 4000, 6000

I believe that the amount varies depending on region...

Ah ok....BTW does the price vary too? cause it would be bull if you got 500 points for the same price that I get 400.

- 500 points = £4.25 ($6.97) - For 400 it would cost £3.40 ($5.58)

- 1000 points = £8.50 ($13.94) For 800 it would cost £6.80 ($11.16)

- 2000 points = £17 ($27.89) For 1600 it would cost £13.60 ($22.32)

- 5000 points = £42.50 ($69.72) For 4000 it would cost £34 ($55.78)

- 6000 points = £51 ($83.66)

through live and xbox.com... this comes to 0.85p (1.39cent)  per point.

But points cards can be bought in:

- 1200 = £12.99 ($21.31) -  1.08p (1.77cent) per point

- 2100 = £17.99 ($29.52) - 0.85p (1.39cent) per point

- 4200 = £39.99 ($65.62) - 0.95p (1.56cent) per point
