fact: MS ripped off SONY's controller. 

Sonys PS1 controller was revolutionary in its ergonmic design and structure, dualshock only improved it even more. All MS did was enlarge it and swap the dpad with the left analog. While Swaping the dpad with the left analog was an good idea, the Dpad location sucks. 

i still remember when everyone laughed at the xbox fat controller. 

Sony takes things from Nintendo and improves them too.

So MS came into the console business and made a controller similar to what their competitors were using. Big deal.  That's just how the industry is.

Doesn't change the fact that the 360 controller is the most ergonomic controller this gen.

its only my opinion, also SONY took what nintendo did with the analog stick and made it into the best thing to ever happen in gaming. Dual analog sticks. how could nintendo not see this when designing the nintendo 64.
