I'm yet too far from mission 40, so, i can't share any tips with you. But i agree that is quite hard. And other than this, i have played the Ds version. But i can't argue about which one is harder to beat (i sucked at the Ds Bangai-O, that's why).
How long did it take to reach Mission 40 btw?
