RROD affects anyone and there was absolutely no way to dodge it. After the bigger HDDs started coming out there were ways to dodge overheating issues and all, but it was quite late and expensive.

I'm sorry, but that is failed logic, PSN is okay because not everyone makes a PSN account? Last I checked 80% of PS3s had PSN accounts. Where the RRoD only had a 50% failure rate. 

How do know that? The link everyone throws around talks about 80% of the PS3s being connected to the internet, huge difference. By connecting to the internet but not using a PSN account you can:

Download system updates.

Download Game updates.

You can browse the internet.

77 million accounts, if 80% of the PS3 users made an account it would amount to 40 million PSN users.

XBL has more users who play online than PSN. Its a fact. And no of XBL users including silver members = 30 million or so.

Not everyone is connected to the internet. Not everyone who is connected to the internet uses a PSN account. Not everyone who uses a PSN account has legitimate info on it. Not everyone who has legitimate info has a CC. None of the people who had a CC on PSN have had any kind of scam with it till now.

How is it in anyway comparable to rrod?
