A RROD kills your entire system so you can't play games.  And has been a consistent problem overe the entire course of the XBOX360.

PSN just doesn't allow you to utilize the online features of your PS3.  But you can still play single player games.  And its only been about 2 weeks of downtime, which is less than whatyou'd be down sending your XBNOX360 in for 'repairs'.  Especially if your XBOX360 has died 3-5 times like many people.

I don't know why people keep making this thread.  2 Weeks vs 6 years of problems is pretty easy to compare.

PSN is not a 2 weeks problem. Personal information was stolen for lifetime.

Potentially PSN could be worse if the information gets to be used.

If any personal information gets sold.  And even then, some reports state the vast majority of people personal information were limited to their name, e-mail address and phone number.  Annoying to be sure, but its not their Social, credit cards and other major personal information.

Only time will tell what level of information got leaked.  And even if anyone was affected.  All the more reason you can't claim PSN being down is as big of a problem as RROD.  Because one has been confirmed to affect close to 20 million people.  The other has yet to be confirmed if it will affect anyone but Sony.
