Well rrod cost me 10 weeks of not being able to play at all due to various repairs, plus when I got a new replacement model the store made me pay for a new 3 year extended warrenty for problems other then rrod.
The psn outage has increased my blu-ray buying rate so for cost they're about equal atm :)
