Not really, I mean that's about average as far as regaining consumer confidence when you lose their personal information. I mean, downloadble games cost them almost nothing.

well by this point they have done more than enough imo. Guess our expectations were different. I was expecting one free game max but now we have one month of ps plus, qriocity, 2 games for ps3 and 2 games for psp (and we can select ourselves) and one year of ID theft protection.
not sure what you mean by that's the average. What other examples do you have of gaming companies in similar situations taking steps like these? I wouldn't call this average I would call this as much as they could in the situation. that's a bit undermining from your end there.

gaming companies? None, because no gaming companies have every made such a huge ass mistake before. Most of the time when someone loses your identity though they offer 3-4 years of Identity theft monoitoring, which runs a lot more from the "cost" amount.
