@Sapphi Snake. You do realise there are also non-violent Basque seperatists? They have a very different identity than the Castillians.

They may be non-violent NOW, but a separatist is a separatist, and the fact of the matter is that some of them have formed a terrorist groupv that kills innocent people and demands that Spain give up territories that belong to it. Separatst attitudes are dangerous.

The same could be said for collectivist attitudes.

I'd say there have likely been more wars waged on the principle of uniting then the principal of dividing.

Aside from which, if a majority of an area wants too... why should a group of people be forced to assositate with other groups they do not wish to?

And while more wars were waged on the principle of "uniting", most terrorists actions are done on the basis of dividing.

What pretence do those people have the land they wish to claim their own?

I wonder if that's true.

The largest terrorist groups now are either about overthrowing the government,(Taliban) creating there one world goverment ("Islamic" terrorists who want world wide islamic law) or creating specific changes in the certain government. (Eco Terrorists.)

Even most "seperating" terrorists have elements of "uniting".   See the Kurdish terrorists who want to create a nation that involves parts Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Syria.

Nevermind the fact that most "sperating terrorists" were created soley by collectivist wars of agression.

Even Hamas, who is a Palestine liberation terrroist groups real goal is to wipe out and conquer Israel.
