A bitter reply this is. What did they do to you I wonder?

On topic, the article says: "The Hackers claim they currently have access to some of Sony's servers."

I presume they are not refering to the servers currently turned off and being rebuilt with no doubt different architechture, access rights and firewalls.

Only time will tell. Who's knows if they got insiders at sony. Most likely not but maybe sony pissed off some workers too.  "GO BACK TO WORK DOUCHE BAG." THATS IT I'M GOING TO F THEM UP"  Maybe something like that. LOL No probably not.

Sony did try to trample on rights and others don't take kindly to that.

Insiders are usually the easiest to find and get to so I doubt anything as simple as that is a reason for access. Hackers exploited weaknesses in security and firewalls to get in. The is probably as big of an issue for the server security providers Sony hired as much as Son'y themselves (I doubt Sony developed it's own  security software, instead pays thousands a month for a provided service).

If these people were really doing it because of Rights abuses, I can think of many more worth while candidates to attack then Sony. All companies are subject to customer rights violations, from little details in EULAs meaning you can't do things you do everyday to tracking your movement wherever you go without telling people.

Hmm, pie.
