your maths seem very wrong.

bluray: single layer: 25 GB

DVD: duallayer: 8 GB x 3 = 24 GB

also i think thats the first time ive ever heard the arguement that bluray is holding back content. congratulations, you deserve a prize for that.

also your bolded says, you will only NEED to swap disks twice. meaning at minimum, the very least, you will need to change dicks 2 times. but if you read the article again, when it mentions side missions, it seems to allude to that if you wanted to complete some of them, you would need to swap disk more than twice.

No, my math is right, your knowledge on dual layer DVDs is off. A single layer is 4.7 GBs, a dual layer is 8.5 GBs.

8.5 8.5 8.5= 25.5

25x1=25

You are taking something and trying to warp it in the worst way possible. All the multi-game discs I played I could travel all I want. I only had to swap for story segments. And lets look at it one more time:

In fact, players will only need to swap discs twice at natural breaks between cases without interrupting the flow of the game

Swapping while trying to do side missions would severely interrupt the flow of the game. Come on, this is fun. How else can you twist it?

i posted a link earlier about dvd size. but like i said, more than one GB is reserved on the disk for security purposes, so assuming 25 GB is correct. then the max size is 22 gb.

but i couldnt care less if 3 dvd's is more than 1 siingle layer bluray. your comment was absurd that bluray is somehow holding it back when you potentially have 50gb of space one ONE disk.

also what am i trying to twist? from reading the article it seemed as though, you may need to swap disks more than twice if you wanted to play optional side mission. i could be wrong, and we will find out when it comes out, wont we.

it just seems logical, if data of the mission is on one disk, and you are currently on another disk because of you advanment in the game, but then you decide you want to play a side mission, that was on the 1st disk. you would have to switch disks. like i said i could be wrong.

and im glad you are having fun. whatever it is you are having fun with
