Do you mean like evidence of Anon reps saying that they were discontinuing DDOS because it was more damaging for Sony customers than for Sony the company (and then actually stopping)? I'm pretty sure stealing user's credit card data comes under the category of more damaging to users than Sony.
anon hack for political reasons - to embarras HB Gary, to pay back Sony as a company for the Geohots thing, to punish Mastercard for their attempt to hurt wikileaks. They do not hack in order to steal credit card details. What you are suggesting is as proposterous as suggesting that because greenpeace commitsillegal activities to hidner whaling boats, we might as well assume they are guilty of every violent act of piracy (ie actual piracy, not video piracy etc) that we do not have a culprit for.
