Yes to the second, but to the first? Maybe. The facts show that data was taken, but no CC companies have reported strange activity, and nobody has reported theft of any kind, not even identity theft....well at least none that I've heard about other than in a forum.

This is typical of anonymous. It's all about scaring the opposition into submission. Anon is never about doing actual irreperable harm. This is a simple message to Sony to back off.

 So sorry to everyone who thought that this was fake, and that Sony was going to collapse. It's just another slap on the wrist.

If that was the case dont you think they would take credit and reassure the masses their info is safe with non criminals? But what you say is plausible. Or at least that it is a member of anon that went rogue. I just haven't seen any hard evidnce poitning to that.

On another note, identy theft will take longer to show up, I wouldn't expect to see it soo soon.
