At the end of the day Anonymous was very out in the open recently aboput there dislike for Sony and attempted to shut down their network. This could all be a big rouse on Sonys part to press charges against hackers in general. Who knows. Sony will use this to their advantage and I hope it is a big victory for them. While I think it is perfectly fine to mod your PS3 or 360 to do what you want, once Sonys or Microsofts network is involed it should become a crime. If you are modding a unit that connects to a server and potentially opening up a security risk in the process then your should be prosecuted. |
