You OBVIOUSLY haven't played Resident Evil 4. To judge a series by one installment (RE 5) is a little harsh

From a scary, survival-horror perspective, DS was still much better than RE4. There, I said it.

Now, from every other perspective, RE4 is the reason (IMO) we have half of the TPS games we do today. Primarily, I was talking about RE5 vs. DS, as RE5 was a massive step down from RE4 (essentially the same formula which has aged, and took away any modicum of horror to the series which had been prevalent up to RE4).
