Ironically, during interviews, SWERY was told by the publishers that he had to put combat into the game, or it wouldn't sell. That was why the combat was so tacked-on and horrible.
Had he not of added it, we may have got an even better GOTG (game of the genration). Still, its tied for Mass Effect for best story of the generation.
