And when's the last time you masterminded a plot to kill about 3,000 innocent people? Never? Thought so. Whether you choose to ignore it or not, there is evil in this world. Evil that must be prevented from harming others. And no ammount of pleading or bargaining will stop them, so death or incarceration are the only alternatives.
