well no that won't happen. same reason if there was only one console.
doesn't matter if no used game sales, if a game isn't selling a company will lower its price.
same if there was only one console. the ps3 woudln't still be at $600. people would not buy it cause its teh only one.
You are confusing video games with being a need. video games are not a necessety and if they cost to much people will just not do them.
