OT: I'm looking forward to a more digital future. Boosting digital sales means boosting independant developers, and cutting out the middlemen. We can't handle it with the current state of affairs though, we need more development platform-wise that will better let users spend their money on things they want.


Digitial only leaves less room for competition prices. Games will be at full price for years on end. I will not pay full price for over a 1 year old game and especially not if I can't get a physical copy. I don't support piracy but I would probably fall to the other side if this were to happen.

What are you basing this on? Why can't digital platforms compete?
