At this point, I don't think it's even hacking to "revenge" for the homebrew community anymore.

It's more in line with the malicious hacks with the purpose of stealing data and then sell it in the black market. It is very lurcative, depending on how much infos are bundled.

As stressed by some posters in multiple threads, identity theft should be what you should be worrying about more. Credit Card info is just extra toppings now.

The less damaging outcome right now is actually if Anon did this for the lulz, which it doesn't look so.
