I'd actually welcome the ability to change screen names in addition to this.
I'm pretty curious as to how transparent the transition will be to "reNewed PSN" over the next few weeks as the service goes back online or whether it will be really obvious.
I am kind of disappointed that the PSN Store isn't going to be up until the end of the month though. Security first, but hey; don't they want our money?
