Gears multiplayer has always been garbage. Its popularity is inexplicable. It's been silly diving around, glitchy repetition from the start. Haven't played Gears 3 beta, and doubt I will. Bought Gears one on hype. Never finished it, rarely played online. Rented/played Gears 2 all the way through on SP, hated MP. Will pass on Gears 3 - maybe borrow a copy and mess with the story if it's received well.
But I think it's one of the more overrated series there are.
Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
