I liked it, it might not be for everyone but if it helps, its very recognized and considered a great book by guys who are into them. Its very long and sometimes you can get confused since lots of characters in different times share the same names.

The book is only 480 pages long (accoring to the website of the book's publisher here in Romania), so that's definately not what I would call "long" (a book has to be close to or be over 1000 pages to be considered "long"). I'll definately pick it up when I have the time.
