If I had used my credit card info with sony i'd be angry. I guess it depends on the encryption. I'm no expert on cryptography but I think a strongly encrpyted file probably wouldn't be practical to hack?
Afterall those insurance files released by Wikileaks no doubt contained all sorts of juicy information but I haven't heard of any attempt to actually get into them.
