The NGP is about a $300 device, but without an iSuppli breakdown or what the pricing strategy will be (subsidized by 3G network fees? sold at a loss? break even? small profit from Day 1?) for the device, base MSRP could be anywhere from $299 to $350.
At that price, the NGP will have to have more than just a couple compelling titles that really showcase the abilities of the device to sell the upgrade over a $129 PSP.
In the case of the 3DS, there simply aren't enough, if any titles that really demonstrate that the device is much more than a DS with 3D. It is of course, but it still boils down to the software making this patently clear to consumers considering the price premium.
