Re the charger. I have no problems with getting my own rechargeables. NiMH is fine. The irritant is the inconvenience of swapping the batteries around. I'd like a built in charging dock of some kind. And (at least in the UK) the manual says NOT to use rechargeables. Which I ignore for the sake of not buying ludicrous numbers of batteries.
