I went to Kelvingrove Park with my friend for a picnic because there was a "garden party" going on. Not that most of the people there cared much what the reason for the party was, and obviously because we were all there no-one watched the ceremony. So for that, I'm glad it was a bank holiday.. Really just an excuse for a party and a day off.
As for the royal family, I wouldn't wish any individual harm but collectively they're a bunch of horse-faced inbreds who have no purpose outside of attracting tourism andproviding American tv with something to parody.
