When the next Geohotz is targeted by Sony, they will use this incident to legitimise whatever tactics they use against the hacker.
personally i think thats what they're doing now - when this group are caught they will deny trying to obtain cc data. Sony will use the mass panic induced by the media to inflict maximum damage on them imo - despite we know nothing about their agenda for the moment.
