The TSA’s security policies are a reflection of what happens when you allow political correctness dictate policy. Realistically, when given the opportunity to profile based on a variety of information they should have on hand (not strictly racial profiling), the TSA should be able to limit enhanced security procedures to less than 1% of all travelers while still maintaining security. Unfortunately, the TSA is forced to operate on the moronic belief that a 12 year old girl from the mid-west is just as likely to be a terrorist as the guy who spent 4 years in Syria working with a group called "Muslims for blowing up Americans in planes", converted to Islam and has adopted the nick-name "American Jihad".
