I'd say no.

One, hacking, etc. is seen as outside intrusion and although it creates a short term panic most people are aware it happens - in short, I don't think, unless something else emerges about the hack or it happens regularly, that it will harm Sony image as much as RROD did MS.

Two, so far, assuming no CC liability, etc. I'd warrant the cost of losing a week or so of PSN revenue plus a short term dip in console sales will not come anywhere near losing $1 billion to RROD - in short, I expect the cost to Sony to be less than the cost of RROD to MS.

So no.  Not that it won't cost Sony, it will, just not as much based on current status and the current outlook for when PSN will be up and the declaration CC details weren't touched (and a rumour containing incorrect details doesn't make me think they have been at this point).
