I might be late in posting this, but to the OP. While I don't entirely disagree with you, your argument is weak. It's basically the equivalent of saying if I go out and shoot someone, it's mostly the law's fault and not my own because they didn't have enough safe barriers up to keep me from doing so.
I'm not saying that Sony didn't drop the ball, they obviously did. But this would have never been a problem if not for some amoral asshole hacker and I think my hatred is much more suited being towad him.
