Denial is strong in you... Of course the 360 is a "global product" just like "the other consoles".
MS has the same distribution paths as any of the "other companies" so they operate on the same principles. MS as a software company, however, does not have the large shipping logistics Sony, for example, has. There is absolutely no way that barelyy three weeks of supply was in transient past Xmas (The Media group, Europe's largest chain, has/had around 150k units alone in transient storage - no Kowenicki, I am not going to tell you why I know this). I highly doubt the rest of the corporate world lived on 400k units. I am sure once Sony shows its numbers, you will gladly announce that Sony overshipped with 1.5m units in transient storage. If it makes you happy ,we all will agree with you.
