Some people seem to be convinced that it'll be the end all of FPS games on the PS3, and somehow overcome the developers history of poor design.
Based on this info I'd say RFOM2 is doing a hell of a lot more than KZ2 devs dare to try, and since the developer has a good track record it should play out well. Maybe this will see the end of people endlessly hyping up a (likely) poor game.
Plus, its funny that one magazine issue divulged more information on the gameplay and story of RFOM2 than everything thats known about KZ2.
Also, I really dont like the chimera redesign.
