I've got the same GPU though it is ddr 5. Your CPU and 8 GB of ram beat the crap out of my AMD Athlon 635 X4 2.9 and my very modest 2 GB Ram (which I'll upgrade soon).
I tell you this cause my computer might be inferior to yours and still I manage to run games at pretty solid 1920 x 1080 (sometimes with one or two atributes on the middle range, but still awesome graphics).
